Established in 2012, Bush & Noble is headquartered in Dubai and saw the formation of our first partner branch in Bahrain in early 2013. With a mandate to service the needs of the GCC’s yachting market, Bush & Noble plans to continue expanding and improving the leisure marine industry throughout the Middle East. Our all-inclusive service caters to clients both locally in the Middle East and globally. John is a well-respected figure within the luxury yacht industry in both Europe and the UAE. With his extensive knowledge of the marine sector and with an expert understanding of the leisure marine business, John is regularly asked to give advice on marketing strategies and revenue generation for some of the key players in the GCC.
John has worked with some of the world’s leading brokerage houses and yachting brands including Edmiston, Burgess, Sunseeker, Princess, Fairline and Azimut, and later worked directly with the owners of many of the world’s largest and most iconic yachts. He has set up networking and sales events for the leading private banks and finance houses in Europe, organising and introducing high net worth clients to luxury yacht charter and ownership for the first time.
John is also a co-founder of The Marine Leisure Association of the Emirates, an organisation made up of marine trade partners and government departments dedicated to promoting safe and active boating throughout the UAE. More recently John led the development of an online and mobile marine tracking system for the UAE called SeaPass, a revolutionary concept that offers a real solution to kick start boat ownership in the region.
John is an enthusiastic and determined leader who has advised marine organisations of all sizes on implementing strategies specific to their business objectives and maximising their potential for customer acquisition and retention.
Brett’s passion for yachting started in his home country Australia; 15 years on and his dependable nature, hands on approach and down to earth values hold strong as he continues to provide his clients with a service that is second to none.
After being named ‘Apprentice of the Year’ and completing a 4 year boat building apprenticeship at Riviera Marine on the Gold Coast Australia, Brett’s focus turned to understanding the electrical, engineering and quality control aspects of boat building. Following this Brett took the decision to leave Australia and relocated to the Mediterranean with Riviera where he operated as a Warranty Specialist for several months. Following this an exciting opportunity landed Brett in Florida in the United States, where he spent 7 years travelling the Americas running a factory-led customer support team. Later promoted to Warranty Manager, Brett took on the responsibility of guiding young Riviera tradesmen on similar journeys to his own. His next role was Dealer Support Manager where he supported Riviera’s dealer network in the sales and marketing of the Riviera brand.
The role of Dealer Support Manager took Brett overseas once again, this time to the Middle East. Brett joined ART Marine LLC in Dubai in early 2009, where he completed 3 ½ years’ service, progressing from Brand Manager to Senior Sales Manager. Brett’s focus at ART Marine was on supporting a network of highly respected clients throughout the UAE and wider Middle East. Brett’s experience continued to broaden as he worked with leading brands including Azimut, Benetti, Atlantis, Numarine, Riviera, Fourwinns and Grady White.
